What it is

Wonder what your favorite athlete, beloved tv character, child, spouse, crazy uncle, historical hero, etc. would look like in my signature style in your space? You’re in luck, because commissions are open! Whether you want to bring some vibrance and life to an old black and white photo of an ancestor, or celebrate a special moment or person in your life, I can accommodate all sorts of requests.

How it works

In order for me to draw your commission, I will need a photo/photos. Higher quality is best, as blurry or obscure photos can result in inaccurate portraits. In addition to a photo, I may need a short idea of what you are looking for. For example, if you really like one of my pieces in particular, please mention it so I can tailor your piece to that look. If you want a particular color/item featured, also let me know. If it’s black and white and eye/hair color is important, make note.

I’m happy create the piece with colors and a design completely on my own, but if you have important requests, let me know. My goal is to create something you will treasure!

Quality

Each original piece is created to last many lifetimes. All originals will come custom framed by the artist in the highest quality conservation materials on the market including 99% UV protected non-glare glass and acid-free rag mats and backing board.

Pieces come double matted with a white mat on top and a color coordinated inside mat. Currently, two frame choices are available: a white scoop frame that reflects modern trends and pulls you into the artwork, or a natural solid walnut frame, that has a modern squared profile, but more traditional surface to marry your artwork to any space (See photos below for examples of the two frames). Additional Frames may be available by request for an extra fee.

Pricing

Commissions start at $450 for one subject with an image size of 8.5”X11.5” and a framed size of 14.5”x17.5” in the white frame. The walnut frame will add an additional fee of $50. Additional subjects on one page will add $200 per subject and the image and frame size will be adjusted up accordingly.

For custom size requests, price breaks for multiple individual pieces, or inquiries about commissions in another style or medium, a custom quote will need to be created. Please reach out below and I will get back to you as promptly as possible.

Payments can be made via PayPal, Venmo, or Square.

How long it takes

Commission time varies depending on the number of orders, the season, etc. I will be able to give you an accurate estimate upon request.
